Tips for Learning This Tune

  • The 3/4 feel should be gentle and lyrical — not a strict march pulse.
  • The rise to High A in the B section is a highlight of the tune. Build to it naturally — don't rush.
  • This tune sounds well played slowly on the practice chanter. Use it to work on smooth note transitions.
